Downtown Houston - UHD portraits.

In December, I acquired a new client - the University of Houston Downtown. They were revising their campus magazine, Skyline, and needed help with a few portraits - two of which were a team portrait of the women’s soccer team and an environmental portrait of nursing student Monica Cosby.

For the soccer team, we couldn't take the obvious route and shoot on the soccer field because of recent rains and a flooded field. But the front of the fitness center made a nice backdrop, despite the gloomy skies. And for Monica’s nursing portraits, a new lab with fabulous natural light was the perfect environmental setup.

Because the portraits I shot (four total) were spaced out between morning and afternoon sessions on each day, they asked me to use the time in between to make some stock images for social media use (in carousel below). So I walked the campus and documented scenes and student life. Definitely got all my steps in during this job!
